The Root Cause Management System is an ADD-ON to Business Process Management Systems. It was developed to find the root causes of business functions, which are defined by the underlying concepts and fundamentals, to build structural solutions.
It is for organizations that already have a process improvement process. It is developed as a participative R&D process based on solving urgent problems by building structural solutions.
This approach emulates the organization of nature by developing a maximal strategy to expand and a minimum strategy to ensure results. The participative implementation model that is used ensures the functionality of the solutions.
The Differentiation of the Root Cause Management ADD-ON
The unicist root case management to deal with adaptive business processes is based on the knowledge of their concepts and fundamentals that define the root causes of their functionality.
The unicist evolutionary approach emulates the intelligence and evolution of nature using unicist artificial intelligence that allows managing the unified field of business functions and processes.
The unicist root cause management ADD-ON introduces a “conceptual layer” to improve business processes that allows increasing the productivity and quality of adaptive business processes.
The first stage before installing a Root Cause Management Add-On, requires the development of a one-day virtual “clinic”, with up to 21 participants, where a real case is solved using the unicist evolutionary approach. This clinic is divided into two parts:
1. The transfer of the basics of the technologies included in the system
2. The solution of a real case using these technologies
The Root Cause Management System is installed as a prototyper that allows building the system and works on the cloud, where the collaborative work of the ADD-ON takes place. It includes the fundamentals of the business functions and processes, as well as all the modules of the system.
It uses the unicist artificial intelligence (UAI) monitor to manage the feedback of the pilot tests of the business processes. This UAI monitor is installed within the system after the first pilot tests proved their functionality.
Expert System with Unicist Artificial Intelligence
Unicist Expert Systems are an optional module in the Unicist Cognitive Systems that is based on the use of unicist artificial intelligence.
They are built based on the information of the concepts and fundamentals provided by The Unicist Research Institute and the information provided by the clients.
On the one hand, artificial intelligence allowed managing and learning from data. On the other hand, the development of the unicist artificial intelligence, that emulates human intelligence, allowed managing the unified field of processes and learning from their results.
Artificial Intelligence is a must to manage root causes because it allows managing the unified field of business functions and the information of the ontogenetic maps of the business processes.
The Unicist Artificial Intelligence emulates the functionality of human intelligence, by developing inferences based on the ontogenetic maps of business functions, which are defined by the fundamentals of the specific functions, and learns from the feedback.
The Unicist Root Cause Management System includes:
1. Root Cause Finder
This module provides the methodology to find and deal with triggering causes, limit causes and root causes to develop solutions for problems in adaptive business environments.
The discovery that the functionality of the concepts and fundamentals that underlie business functions define their root causes provided the framework for the management of root causes of business processes.
The R&D process on business functions allowed finding the concepts and fundamentals that define the unified field of their functionality and developing a knowledge base to solve business problems.
Its predecessor was Dr. Ishikawa with the root cause diagram that manages fundamentals to deal with the root causes of manufacturing processes.
2. Conceptual Design Module
It becomes necessary to ensure results in adaptive environments by managing the fundamentals of the solutions, defining the necessary functions that are integrated as a unified field and ending with the definition of a dynamic process architecture.
This module allows designing processes, projects, systems and solutions in adaptive environments that require managing the concepts involved to ensure the results to be obtained. This conceptual design module ensures the functionality of a solution.
The process includes the definition of roles, business objects and maximal and minimum synchronic actions to ensure the achievement of results.
3. Business Objects Builder
This module builds business objects, using the conceptual knowledge base of business objects categories.
Unicist business objects are encapsulated adaptive systems that produce predefined results that can be inserted in work processes to increase productivity and quality and to save energy.
From a functional point of view, there are different types of objects:
- Driving Objects: To drive processes
- Catalyzing Objects: To accelerate processes
- Entropy Inhibiting Objects: To inhibit the entropy of business processes
- Inhibiting Objects: To inhibit dysfunctional events in a business
- Gravitational Objects: To influence the results of processes
The use of business objects structures the timing and synchronicity of business processes. It also provides the necessary acceleration to achieve the required critical mass and speed to adapt to the environment.
4. Quality Assurance Module
The quality assurance module defines the necessary quality assurance for the processes that are being designed.
Elements included in a Quality Assurance System:

- To confirm the functionality of specific actions.
The testing of root cause solutions for business processes requires making multiple applications in different segments to ensure their functionality.
Pilot tests are developed as destructive and non-destructive tests that drive the reflection processes to find the root causes of problems and confirm the functionality of the solutions.
The Pilot testing groups, integrated with members of the clients, use the prototyper provided by The Unicist Research Institute.
Unicist In-Company Clinics
Unicist In-Company Clinics are a participative way to develop an organizational strategy focused on a specific goal that needs to be achieved.

According to the complexity of the problem to be solved there are 3-day clinics and 1-day clinics.
3-Day full-time clinic – That is used to develop a real strategy with a company – It is a live personal activity.
1-Day full-time clinic – That is based on the development of a specific strategy and includes the possibility of a live personal activity or a live virtual activity.
There is also an introductory 4-Hour clinic – That allows experiencing the technology based on a real case – It is a live virtual activity.
These clinics are preceded by a preparation, based on the information provided by the company, and are followed by a monitoring process of 60 days.
